Garden Inspired Woodworking

We believe the same careful consideration that goes into making a garden should be given to the fabrication of the objects that will live within it. We thus seek to compliment rich species diversity by creating objects that are aesthetically grounded, and that sit well in a highly variable landscape. Our forms are derived from their materiality and intended function. We forefront both technical precision and tradition in our woodworking process, finding that the best results happen when the material is given permission to be itself.

Made in Los Angeles

In order to minimize our carbon footprint, we use tree species that grow within our region and thus do not have to be shipped great distances during procurement. We do not source wood from big box retailers, preferring to work with local businesses. Whenever possible, we use reclaimed wood from trees that have been felled in the greater Los Angeles area.
